Yakima Valley College art students have been working hard, and now it’s time to see some fresh creativity from our next generation of artists.
Larson Gallery’s Student Art Show features artwork from YVC’s Department of Visual Arts (DoVA). This annual exhibit showcases artwork created for class assignments from Spring and Fall quarters of 2024, and Winter quarter of 2025.
DoVA classes include ceramics, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and design.
This show gives students the chance to exhibit their art in a professional gallery and gives visitors the opportunity to see students’ artistic vision in a variety of mediums and styles. And it’s a wonderful opportunity to purchase art.
Awards and honorable mentions were presented at the show’s opening reception May 6.
DoVA 2025 is on display at Larson Gallery now through May 31. Admission is free.
