In a video message to fans, Yara Shahidi told them that Grown-ish will end after its sixth season.

On March 29, Yara Shahidi said in a video message, “I wanted to tell you guys—our day ones—that season six of grown-ish will be our last season. But don’t be sad because we’re going out with a bang.”

Yara talked to Enews about the upcoming 100th episode and how Lil Yachty and Anderson will appear in it.

The first part of the sixth and final season will come out in the summer of 2023, and the second part will come out sometime in 2024.

The Sun Is Also a Star actress said, “You guys have been with us since season one, and it has been such an honor to play Zoey and grow up with her for the past nine years.”

She went on, “We, the cast and crew, really appreciate all the help you’ve given us over the last five seasons. We want to thank everyone for their love and support, which has kept us going.”

Yara, who is 23 years old, ended her message with, “I already said that there is still one more season to go. Believe me, it’s going to be huge.”
