SLASH LANDLORDS, MEALS ON WHEELS, YOLO COUNTY HAS A NEW CENTER. THE WINTER SENIOR NUTRITION CENTER IS SET TO OPEN UP ON THURSDAY. THE CENTER WILL HAVE MORE THAN DOUBLE THE ORGANIZATION’S MEAL PRODUCTION CAPACITY COUNTYWIDE SO IT CAN EVENTUALLY SERVE UP TO 2600 OLDER ADULTS. THE CENTER IS AT THE FORMER BUCKHORN RESTAURANT CATERING OPERATION. WANT TO EXPAND AND DO EVEN MORE? WE HAVE A PLAN TO SERVE 2600 BY THE YEAR 2026. AND SO THAT MONEY IS GOING TO REALLY HELP US GET TO THAT POINT, POSSIBLY OPEN A SECOND KITCHEN IN THE BACK HERE. SO WE COULD DO TWO KITCHENS OUT OF ONE LOCATION TO JUST JUST USE THE SPACE THAT WE HAVE TO DO MORE. THE NEW CENTER IS ABOUT 5300FT. THEIR KITCHEN IN WOODLAND IS ABOUT 2800FT.
