The Maple Grove boys basketball team has a lot of new faces this season after graduating six seniors who played significant minutes last winter.

They have four key returners from a 21-win team, led by guard Henry Stang and wing Braedy Laliberte.

The Crimson opened the season with a 64-58 win over Champlin Park Friday.

They face last year’s state class AAAA finalists, Park Center and Wayzata, this week.
