PRYOR, Oklahoma ~ The spotlight is shining once again on Pryor’s youngest performers as the Missoula Children’s Theatre returns for another exciting week of drama, music, and imagination. From June 9 to 13, children ages 5 through 18 will take to the stage at the Avra Performing Arts Center, located at 1100 SE 9th Street, for a full-scale production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Presented by the Pryor Area Arts and Humanities Council, this week-long theater camp has become a beloved summer tradition. Each year, the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) brings a team of professional actor-directors to town as part of their renowned Red Truck Tour—the largest touring children’s theatre of its kind in the world.

Headquartered in Missoula, Montana, MCT is dedicated to providing quality, accessible performing arts programs that are both educational and entertaining. Their productions are known for being fast-paced, inclusive, and inspiring for performers and audiences alike. For many children, this is their first experience on stage—and a memory that lasts a lifetime.

Auditions will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 9, with registration opening at 10:00 a.m. The cost to participate is $35 per child, and scholarships are available to ensure that every aspiring young actor can be part of the show. Every child who auditions will be cast in a role. Rehearsals for most parts will run from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. daily, with the final performance taking place at the end of the week.

This year’s production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a musical twist on the classic fairy tale, promising colorful costumes, full-sized sets, and plenty of opportunities for children to shine.
