Yseult Just Shut Down the Paris 2024 Closing Ceremony—But First, the French Singer Invited Vogue to Get Ready With Her


“We are in 2024, and for me, it’s important as an artist now more than ever to know your worth, to defend yourself, and to protect yourself, because the music industry is kind of wild,” she says. “I am my own manager, producer, and A&R.” This means, she tells us, she’s “always working,” and rarely without her laptop. “At the studio I’ll have my computer on the side to manage everything, and at the same time I’m being an artist and creating music.”

Today, however, she traded that computer for a custom Dior dress and Chopard jewels. Alongside stylist Jonathan Huguet, makeup artist Clotilde Puvis de Chavanne, and hair stylist Ivana Silvestre de Jesus, Yseult turned out a look befitting of the monumental evening.

“I feel emotional and I feel proud,” Yseult says. “Proud of myself and proud of my team. It’s an honor to sing in my country, surrounded by beautiful souls.”
