DYK that Golden Temple in Five Points South is Birmingham’s first and longest-running vegetarian restaurant? Since 1973, Golden Temple has served as a Natural Grocery Store and Cafe—serving vegan, vegetarian, organic and gluten-free options. Healthy eating is made easy here!
I stopped by and got a vegan grilled cheese with a salad and it lived up to the hype.
Plus, on your way out, you can grab vitamins, herbs and clothes from all over the world.
- Five Points
- Trussville

With the menu being as fun as its name, Kale Me Crazy is a must-visit when it comes to healthier options.
I stopped by the other day and grabbed some treats for my co-workers and they were a hit—especially the acai bowl.
Psst, try the Powerhouse and Tropical Trippin’ smoothies!
