Why forcing kids to eat might not be the answer; try this instead | The Times of India

Instead of forcing, focus on encouraging healthy eating habits. Make meals colourful and appealing, involve kids in meal preparation, and be a positive role model by enjoying a variety of nutritious foods yourself. Children are more likely to adopt healthy habits when they see them modelled by those they look up to. It’s better to feed them veggies in a way that they develop tastes like adding veggies in chapatis and making it colourful.

While it may be tempting to force kids to eat for their own good, a gentler approach is often more effective in the long run. By respecting their individual preferences, appetites, and allowing them to make choices, we contribute to building a positive and healthy relationship with food. It’s not about winning the battle at the dinner table but fostering a love for nourishing their bodies that will last a lifetime.
