Fatty, fried food: Too much fried food does not have any health benefits. Additionally, patients with fatty liver can face worse outcomes. Adding extra spices and herbs to a meal is a great way to flavor foods without adding salt. And instead of frying, try baking or steaming.

Refined grains: Processed foods like white bread, white pasta, white rice can damage the liver. Producers remove the fiber from these highly processed grains, which can raise blood sugar as the body breaks them down.

Sugary drinks: Refined sugar and added sugar can worsen the fatty liver condition. Avoid sugary foods like candy, cookies, sodas, and fruit juices. High blood sugar increases the amount of fat buildup in the liver.
