BENTON HARBOR — The Berrien County Health Department is promoting healthy eating habits and reminding community members of its nutrition services during National Nutrition Month, recognized in March.

BCHD has two registered dietitians on staff who support the county’s Women, Infants and Children program. WIC is a supplemental nutrition program serving low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding women, postpartum women, infants and children, up to their fifth birthday. WIC also provides nutrition and breastfeeding support and education.
