BECAUSE OCTOBER IS NATIONAL BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH AND PLANET FITNESS PARTNERS UP WITH THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF AMERICA EVERY YEAR. AND THIS YEAR’S THEME IS TO LIFT UP THE NEXT GENERATION. SO WHEN THEY SAID THAT BULK UP TO BEAT UP RIGHT? OKAY. OH, I LIKE THAT. DON’T WALK UP TO BEAT UP. PLEASE DON’T DO THAT. RIGHT. YOU CAN DO IN ANY PLANET FITNESS OR AT HOME. SO YOU’RE AT HOME. PICK UP SOME WATER JUGS OR IF YOU’RE AT OR YOU’RE HERE, LET’S DO IT. ALL RIGHT. SO WE’RE GOING TO DO SOME BICEP CURLS. OKAY. INTO A SHOULDER PRESS WORKING OUT BICEPS AND SHOULDERS AT THE SAME TIME. JANINE, WE CALL THIS A COMPOUND MOVEMENT, RIGHT? BECAUSE YOU’RE GETTING A TWO FOR ONE SPECIAL. YEAH. AND. I DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I LOVE ME A TWO FOR ONE SPECIAL, RIGHT? AND THE BEST PART ABOUT IT IS WHEN YOU’RE DOING IT IN THE GYM, YOU CAN REMIND YOURSELF OF YOUR WHY FITNESS IS ALL ABOUT REMINDING YOURSELF WHY YOU’RE DOING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. AND WE’RE DOING IT FOR OUR YOUTH IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER. OKAY. THE NEXT ONE IS A REVERSE LUNGE. SO WE’RE GOING TO STEP BACK INTO A REVERSE LUNGE. COME UP AND DO AN ARNOLD PRESS WITH THIS KIND OF A VARIATION OF THAT SHOULDER PRESS. WE DID ON THE FIRST MOVEMENT. OKAY. SO WHEN I COME DOWN AND I COME BACK UP, I’M ROTATING MY HANDS. YEAH, I’M GOING TO STEP BACK INTO THAT REVERSE LUNGE FOR BALANCE AND STABILITY. I’LL DRIVE UP AND I LIKE HOW YOU DRIVE UP ON THAT SECOND PART, RIGHT? AND SHE DOES IT WITH A SMILE. BECAUSE, JANINE, WHEN YOU WORK OUT, YOU FEEL BETTER, RIGHT? ABSOLUTELY. THOSE ENDORPHINS GET GOING. YOU FEEL MORE CONFIDENT IN YOURSELF. YES. YEAH. YES. AND WE SWEAT IT OUT RIGHT? OKAY, SO WE’RE NOT CLEANING WITH A BROOM. WE’RE GOING TO CLEAN WITH OUR EXERCISES. ALL RIGHT? SO WE’LL DROP DOWN INTO A THREE QUARTERS, SQUAT. THEN WE REALLY EXPLODE UP SO THAT WE CAN CATCH THOSE WEIGHTS. AND THEN WE PRESS UP ABOVE OUR HEADS. LET ME SEE YOU EXPLODE WITH ME. SO YOU WANT THREE QUARTERS SQUAT AND EXPLODE UP CATCH. AND NOW WE PRESS. ALL RIGHT, LET’S DO THAT ONE MORE TIME. ONE MORE TIME. WE’RE GOING TO GO HERE AND EXPLODE. CATCH. NOW. PRESS. OUTSTANDING. A REALLY GOOD EXERCISE TO BUILD EXPLOSIVENESS AND POWER. GET THE BLOOD FLOW THROUGH THE ENTIRE BODY, AND AGAIN, RELEASE THOSE ENDORPHINS THAT YOU TALKED ABOUT. MY FAVORITE EXERCISE IS COMING UP HERE IS GOING TO BE A GOBLET SQUAT INTO A SVEN PRESS. NOW WE KNOW WE KNOW HALLOWEEN IS COMING UP, RIGHT. AND EVERYBODY’S LIKE GOBLINS. GOBLINS. PUT THE TWO TOGETHER. PUT YOUR MASK ON EARLY. RIGHT. WHILE WAITING TILL HALLOWEEN TO WEAR THAT. SO PUT THAT MASK ON NOW. PUT THOSE WEIGHTS RIGHT HERE LIKE YOU’RE HOLDING A GOBLET. YOU’RE GOING TO CLOSE YOUR STANCE UP SLIGHTLY, RIGHT?
