VISALIA, Calif. (FOX26) — A man has been arrested after a burglary at a fitness center in Visalia.
According to the Visalia Police Department, officers were called out around 9:25 p.m. to The Bar Method fitness center near Walnut Avenue and Akers Street for reports of a burglary.
When officers arrived, they were told a suspect went into the business through the back door while they were closed.
Authorities say the suspect stole numerous items before running away from the scene.

Officers later found the suspect and the stolen items near Kent Street and Coppola Court.
The man was identified as 38-year-old Jason Wise of Fresno.
Wise was arrested for burglary and the stolen items were returned to the business.
