I’m A Personal Trainer, And This Garmin Watch Is Ideal For Tracking Your Strength Training Progress

The Venu 3s is my absolute favorite Garmin watch. This watch combines the best of both worlds when it comes to being a sleek beautiful watch and having the incredible advanced data that Garmin Watches are known for. My favorite features are the morning report, animated on-screen workouts, and the performance and health stats that are available on the Garmin Connect App.

Every morning I woke up to a morning report of the weather, details of how I slept, my body battery (this calculates heart rate variability, stress levels, physical activity, and sleep quality), a glimpse at my calendar, and a motivating message to start the day. You also have the ability to customize the report. (This report is part of every Garmin watch I tested.)

When it comes to workouts and training, this watch has on-screen animated workouts. I loved integrating some new workouts into my routine based on the library of workouts that are literally at your fingertips. This watch helped me get a better understanding of my training and recovery through the notifications that shared tips/workout benefits and by observing the trends in the stats available on the Garmin Connect App. The app is where you can access a more detailed view of the performance and health stats this watch tracks.

The Venu 3s even has a wheelchair mode for tracking pushes and offering inclusive settings for wheelchair users. This feature is also available on the Vívoactive 5 and Venu 3. (I love a considerate brand.) And for those who want the convenience of multitasking on the move, this watch has a microphone and speaker so that you can take calls and do voice-to-text.
