
This spring, from March to late May, the Samish Indian Nation launched its first-ever Samish Fitness Challenge, an eight-week initiative that encouraged citizens to get moving and prioritize their physical and mental well-being.
Open to all Samish citizens ages 5 and older living within the Tribe’s 12-county service area, the challenge was designed to inspire active lifestyles and foster community connection — one step, one workout, one goal at a time.
