A study from the Cleveland Clinic reveals that nearly half of Americans (46%) view healthy food as being more expensive. That puts health and financial goals at odds, doesn’t it? Not necessarily.
Natalia Mendez with Seward Co-op stopped by the KARE 11 Saturday Kitchen to work her magic when it comes to eating healthy on a budget.
She used foods labeled “Nourish” at the Co-op to make vegetable rolls with peanut sauce. You can find this recipe and more on the Seward Co-op website.
Seward sells fresh produce, meats, cheeses, breads, flowers and other stuff from Minnesota and Wisconsin growers.
The public does not have to be a member to shop at the markets.
