CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — Coastal Carolina University held its second annual Coastal Carolina Fitness Challenge on Sunday.
The event was designed to promote health and fitness.
Two-person teams competed in competitive challenges, with one male and one female on each team.

Teams faced timed obstacle courses where they had to work together to complete each task before they could move on to the next.
The challenges were all designed to test the body and mind.
“This event today was twofold. For us to work on our experience of planning and executing events as students and soon-to-be leaders. And as well as working on just the community fitness and giving everybody a challenge,” said Riley Zana the Director of the CCU Fitness Challenge.
The event cost $15 per team and was open to CCU students and the public.
