ยืนยันออกมาแล้วอย่างเป็นทางการ สำหรับภาพยนตร์ภาคต่อ DUNE 3 ซึ่งตอนนี้อยู่ในขั้นตอนของการเริ่มพัฒนาโปรดักชั่นแล้ว หลังจากความสำเร็จของภาพยนตร์ทั้งสองภาคที่พุ่งทะยาน และส่งให้ภาพยนตร์เรื่อง DUNE กลายเป็นหนึ่งในภาพยนตร์ไซไฟแห่งยุค ซึ่งดัดแปลงมาจากนวนิยายชุดของแฟรงก์ เฮอร์เบิร์ต โดยภาคที่ 3 นี้จะดัดแปลงมาจาก Dune Messiah และจะได้รับการพัฒนาโดย ลีเจนดารี พิคเจอร์ส พร้อมนั่งแท่นกำกับโดย เดนิส วิลล์เนิฟ นั่นเอง
สำหรับภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Dune ทั้งสองภาคแรกที่นำแสดงโดยนักแสดงชายชื่อดังมากความสามารถอย่าง ทิโมธี ชาลาเมต์ และนักแสดงหญิง เซนดายา นั้นต่างได้รับเสียงวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ในด้านบวกอย่างล้นหลามเมื่อออกฉาย โดย Dune: Part Two ที่เพิ่งเข้าฉายไปนั้นสามารถทำรายได้ไปมากกว่า 631 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐจากทั่วโลก ส่งผลให้กลายเป็นภาพยนตร์ที่ทำรายได้สูงสุดในปี 2024 ในช่วงครึ่งปีแรกไปโดยปริยาย
