Phulwani also emphasized the importance of mindful eating. “Listen to your body’s needs, prioritize whole foods, and ditch the restrictive diets. Balanced diet is crucial — nourish your body with diverse, colourful fruits and vegetables, and don’t demonize occasional indulgences,” she says.
Fitness expert Allan Morde stresses exercise shouldn’t feel like a chore. “Find activities you genuinely enjoy. Be it dancing, hiking, or even yoga. Consistency is the key. So, choose something that fits seamlessly into your routine,” he says sharing a tip.
Vilin Patil, a seasoned lifestyle coach, points to the power of support in achieving goals. “Share your goals with friends, family, or join a fitness community. Celebrate victories together, and lean on each other when things get tough. A sense of belonging goes a long way,” he says.
Yog trainer Praful Hatgaonkar offers a timeless truth: “New Year is the best time to start yoga practice. Resolve to dedicate your 100 days consistently. Remember, the yoga journey thrives on ‘Yathashakti Nirantara’ – do what you can, but do it with unending dedication. Start small, breathe deeply, and watch the magic unfold in just 100 days.”
Ayurveda practitioner Dr Mohan Yende reminds that the path towards a healthier, happier version of ourselves is a marathon, not a sprint. “Embrace the process, reflect on our progress, learn from setbacks, and adapt with newfound wisdom. These are the keys to unlocking sustainable transformation,” he says.
