Every Sunday morning, while many El Pasoans are getting ready for church or sleeping in, dozens of volunteers are up early, clipping leashes to eager dogs and hitting the pavement with shelter dogs for a dose of exercise, fresh air and love.
Gibran Hagemoser and Isiah Rubio took time out of their Sunday to volunteer to walk dogs from the El Paso Animal Services Center.
Animal Services volunteers and staff members include David Moreno, Danielle Gardea, Grace Ariola, Nora Rose and Dr. Jeremy Bell.
