ROCHESTER, Minn.-Making a New Years Resolution has become popular, with many looking make changes as a new year comes around.
According to Forbes Health, one of the most common new year’s resolutions being made for 2024 includes improving fitness with 48% of those asked having that goal.
Getting back into the gym can be a hassle, but WIP Fitness owner Allen Sanford says it’s possible to stay on track and keep your fitness resolutions.
To get back into the gym, he recommends finding out where your current level is for different exercise, whether it’s walking on the treadmill or heading to your favorite weight lifting machine.
He says, “Making it as simple as they can. Trying to get into working out is probably one of the toughest things to do. Stepping foot into a gym, especially if you’ve never done it before, hardest thing to do in the world.”
WIP Fitness offers kickboxing, strength training and bungee fitness classes for those looking to try something new.
