MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) – Planet Fitness locations across Michigan are allowing free admission to anyone who wants to exercise inside because of poor air quality.

From now until June 8, Planet Fitness locations in Michigan will open their doors to anyone who wants to exercise, with no obligation to join. 

There are 80 Planet Fitness locations across the state.

“With recent alerts due to the Canadian wildfires, we want to make sure those who normally exercise outdoors have a safe option to avoid unhealthy air quality levels,” said Keith Bertram, president of EPIC Fitness Group.
