“The current practice causing a stir worldwide is the OMAD diet, meaning ‘one meal a day.’ While this approach may assist in weight loss, it could lead to nutritional deficiencies in the long term. Opting for two meals a day could potentially help offset this nutrient loss. Even Sadhguru’s Ashram follows this pattern, offering two meals: one at 10 AM in the morning and another at 7 PM in the evening.
Reinforcing this practice, Sadhguru states, “Many medical professionals have warned me about starving to death, predicting various consequences and advising specific dietary norms. However, I eat only one meal most days—just one substantial meal, and that’s it. Despite doctors’ concerns about my travel schedule, insisting I must eat every four hours, I’ve chosen my path and continue to fare well on it.”
