INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Tasty Teen Youth Culinary Camp is set to teach children about food origins and healthy eating, partnering with Shear Elegance Day Spa this year.
The camp aims to educate young participants on the benefits of healthy eating and the types of foods that are good for them. This year, the camp has partnered with Shear Elegance Day Spa, where Ursurla Shelton will provide insights into foods that benefit the skin.
In addition to the educational sessions, the camp will introduce a new award-winning cookbook to its participants, enhancing their culinary experience. The cookbook is expected to provide recipes and tips that align with the camp’s focus on healthy eating.
Furthermore, the camp will be launching a range of salad dressings, which will be available at the local farmer’s market. These dressings are designed to complement the healthy eating principles taught at the camp, offering a practical application for the skills learned.
Ursula, esthetician and sister of Chef Felicia, also stresses the importance of nutrition and its impact on health, stating, “You are what you eat.” She advises that a diet rich in water and healthy foods can improve skin health and overall well-being.
The Tasty Teen Youth Culinary Camp continues to expand its offerings, providing valuable education on healthy eating and food origins. With new partnerships and products, the camp is poised to make a significant impact on its participants.
