Starting in May 2025 at Eastern Greene High School, located at 11064 E State Road 54, the Greene County Health Department will hold an 18-week Food As Medicine program every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m..

Sponsored by the IU School of Public Health and the Center for Rural Engagement, Greene County Health Inc., Purdue University Extension Nutrition Education Program, the Greene County Health Department and Greene County General Hospital, the program targets healthy eating choices for chronic disease maintenance and prevention.
